【概略】
ジャーナリストとして20年、名誉ある賞を受賞したアンディは、会社が買収され同僚とともに失職する。そんな彼女がファッション誌「ランウェイ」に復帰することとなる。かつての上司ミランダ・プリーストリーが再び現れる。ランウェイはデジタル化の波に押され、ブランド力の再構築を迫られていた。アンディは「改革プロジェクト」のリーダーとして奮闘。突然、社主が倒れる。湧き上がった会社買収により、「ランウェイ」廃刊の危機に……。

【感想】
冒頭の映像がいい。１作目もアンディから始まるけれど、今作もアンディから始まる。そして、アンディがすっぴん。つまり、アン・ハサウェイのソバカスがわかるすっぴんで登場。後半に登場するルーシー・リューも化粧はしていてもソバカスを隠さない。すごいなぁ。
ショーやパーティのシーンは素晴らしく、きらびやかなドレス、ドレス、ドレス!!
多くのファンション・デザイナーたちが自身として出演していて、すごかった。
ファッション誌を取り巻く環境がかわり、社主が変わることで消えてしまいそうになる’’RUNWAY’’をなんとか取り戻すということに八面六臂の活躍を見せるアンディはすごくて、その彼女を手玉にとろうとするエミリーもすごくて、すべてをお見通しのミランダが最恐の人であることが知れて、よく考えられた作品といえる。
おもしろくてドキドキハラハラ。ゴージャス感満載。見終えて目をしばたたかせる。滲んだ涙をぬぐって席を立った。

【Summary】
Andy, a journalist with 20 years of experience who has received prestigious awards, loses her job along with her colleagues after the company is acquired. She returns to the fashion magazine “Runway.” Her former boss, Miranda Priestly, reappears. Runway is pressured by the wave of digitalization and forced to rebuild its brand power. Andy works hard as the leader of the “reform project.” Suddenly, the owner of the company passes away. With the ensuing company acquisition, Runway faces the crisis of potential closure…

【Impressions】
The opening scene is great. The first movie also began with Andy, and this one also begins with her. And Andy is without makeup. In other words, she appears with her freckles visible, played by Anne Hathaway. Later, Lucy Liu also appears with makeup but does not hide her freckles. Amazing.
The show and party scenes are stunning, with glamorous dresses, dresses, dresses!!
Many fashion designers appear as themselves, which was incredible.
The environment surrounding the fashion magazine changes, and with the change of the owner, Runway faces the danger of disappearing. Andy’s extraordinary efforts to somehow reclaim it are impressive. Emily, who tries to manipulate her, is formidable, and Miranda, who sees everything, is revealed to be the most fearsome person, making it a well-thought-out work.
It’s entertaining and thrilling, full of excitement. Overflowing with glamour. After watching, I blink my eyes, wipe away the tears that blurred my vision, and stand up.
